10th Birthday Magazine Launch Party

This Thursday evening we're excited to be hosting the launch of our new magazine to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Union St - woop woop!

Created by co-worker Sophie Tolhurst who also writes for the Financial Times and Creative Review magazine, Sophie has brought together interviews and articles by former and current Union St members alongside artwork by one of our favourite Sheffield-based graphic designers.

Articles range from an exploration of the building's roots as a theatre along with a pioneering method of using composite photography to combines the then-and-now of the street, to a new start-up using virtual reality to support young people's learning in schools, plus member-led initiatives to help foster connections as new members join the co-working community...

Doors will open from 5:30pm with hot food (by our most popular lunch trader Ella from Urban Fusion) and the event will start at 6:30pm with Sophie hosting a Q&A with some of the magazine's featured contributors... From 7:30pm we'll head out into the city centre for drinks.

I'm working on the Guest List this week so if you'd like to join us for the evening then please send me an email to matt@union-st.org

Don't worry if you can't make it on Thursday as we've printed extra so they can be available in the cafe from next Tuesday 20th October, free of charge. We're open to the public from 8:30am til 2pm every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday so do pop-in soon, say hello and collect your 10th anniversary magazine to take home x
