City centre location
We’re located in the heart of Sheffield city centre, close to the Peace Gardens and less than 10 minutes away from the train station, bus station and tram. We also have cycle lock-up points directly outside the front of the building for getting in and out of the city and into the Peaks.
To arrange a visit by car, we’re located diagonally opposite the iconic ‘cheese grater’ Q-Park, and just around the corner from the (cheaper) NCP car park on Furnival Gate.

The exclusivity of the top floor, with only 10 dedicated desks (separate to our co-working space on the floor below) means everyone on the top floor knows each other, and you can be sure of a welcome when you arrive plus regular invites to shared lunch outings.
Working in the city centre brings a range of places within the radius of taking a break: the Peace Gardens, the Winter Gardens, the Millennium Galleries and the Moor Market, plus independent shops such as La Biblioteka, Gravel Pit, Moonko, Collard Mason, Plantology, Glass Onion, plus Waterstones, Fred Aldous and many more.

Right to light!
Natural light is one of the building’s strengths as windows run all the way around the workspace, and with a spacious layout the general atmosphere is calmer and more focused in comparison to the busy co-working space.
Union St’s greatest asset is the people who work here and we’re grateful to have some brilliant people based on the top floor, including two freelance journalists, two architects, two digital animators, plus people working on non-profit community projects. You can read brief bios of some of our top floor residents here.
