FuckUp Nights – the global movement of events where speakers share their stories of failure with previous projects and businesses comes to Sheffield on Wednesday 5th July, with drinks, music and street food. Tickets are just £8 or £6 for co-working members, with more info and booking here

Motore Cafe – chosen in the top 3 places for coffee in Sheffield (their review in Our Favourite Places is here), Motore Cafe are based on the ground floor from 8am-4pm Monday to Friday plus 9am-4pm on Saturdays, with professional Barista Cathy serving a range of delicious coffees, teas and pastries from Forge Bakehouse

Freelance Folk is held on the 4th Thursday of the month at Union St, as a way to bring freelancers and self employed people together in a way that people can get on with their own work whilst in the company of others, to allow people to make useful connections, ask advice or for a second opinion, and just have a chat about any issues that they were dealing with around being self employed. Yoga with Leonie is on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm and Thursdays from 9-10am, priced £7 to drop-in or £6 for students or over 60s, and you can watch our 2 minute ‘behind the scenes’ video we filmed with Leonie here

Wednesdays: TONCO use fresh local produce with an emphasis on seasonality to create an eclectic and innovative range of dishes. From dynamic, vibrant salads to handcrafted sandwiches bursting with an abundance of delights, TONCO makes breakfast worth skipping. Pre-order via unionlunch.org here

Thursdays: new for Thursdays are the ever-popular Hungry Buddha serving freshly prepared curries, rice, dal, pickles and chutneys, as Pie Eyed take a well earned break and return on Thursday 13th July

Fridays: FANFARE serve freshly cooked tacos, fluffy rice and delicious sauces alongside homemade cakes from Raucus, plus it’s vegan and locally produced by the Fanfare workers co-operative, with pre-order via unionlunch.org here
